Home Old – Stokenham Parish Council

Stokenham is a civil parish in the South Hams district of Devon. It covers the whole of the southern half of Start Bay, from Slapton Sands to Start Point and on to Lannacombe Beach. It encompasses the coastal settlements of Torcross, Beesands, and Hallsands, the villages of Beeson, Kellaton, Kernborough and Dunstone, numerous hamlets and isolated dwellings, and the main population centres of Chillington and of course Stokenham itself. The parish, one of the largest in the South Hams, covers an area of 20.8 square kilometres and has a population of around 2,000.
