With regret we have had to cancel this event due an insufficiency of apples in the Community Orchard at Great Hill Wood. As luck would have it, this spring’s poor weather coincided with the flowering period of many of the varieties in the orchard, with the result that the insects weren’t flying and few flowers got pollinated. Visitors to the orchard will notice that many of the trees are bare, with only a few having any quantity of fruit. We hope for a better harvest next year!
